Sassy. Owner Dee. Sassy is a 4 year old Boxer, with hip dysplasia, who loves swimming. Sassy started with a total of about 7 minutes on her first session, but has improved quickly and can now swim for over 21 minutes per session. Dee says that Sassy is much fitter now and can stretch her legs out behind her, which should couldn't do a few months ago. Dee loves swimming with her dogs so much that she is having a pool built for them all, when they move abroad next year! |

Polly, owned by Mike & Marilyn, is a spaniel cross who suffers from arthritis. She is unable to have much exercise on land, but absolutely loves coming swimming twice a week. |

Vinny lives with Polly and Mike & Marilyn, and is a Yorkshire Terrier. He gets very excited when Polly is swimming and has been known to leap off the side into the pool - and it's quite a long way down for him! He really seems to enjoy swimming laps around the pool - it must feel Olympic size to him. |

Tremour, Kes & Kite are all Border Collies, owned by Margaret. Tremour and Kes have been swimming for some time, for fun and to keep them especially fit for agility. Kite started recently, at 4 mths old. She was only supposed to be watching the others swim, but couldn't resist leaping in to join them. She is definitely a water baby, taking to it quicker than any puppy we've ever had here! |

Kyla & Rosie are owned by Fiona. Kyla is a German Shepherd, who although only about 5 is suffering signs of CDRM. (For more information on CDRM see the links on our links page.) Kyla swims every week and Fiona believes strongly that it is helping her condition. Rosie is an x-racing greyhound. She would rather lay on the sofa in the sun than swim, but she appears to benefit from her weekly dip. |
